Seizures
I'm at my mom's apartment. I'm not able to log in for some reason. I had a really bad seizure lastnight. I went to the emergency room. I was on the computer at my apartment and I fell backwards and hit my head. I was unconcious for a while after the seizure. I've been having seizures a lot. My medication isn't working. I'm going to talk to my doctor about being hospitalized. I don't feel safe at home. I want the doctor to run tests. I can't sleep. I'm worried about having another seizure and getting hurt. I'll probably be away from the forum for a while if I'm hospitalized.

I am so sorry you had a seizure and fell and hurt yourself. That must be very frightening. I am thinking of you and hope the doctors can stabilise you.

Re: Seizures
Thank you ebe, sky, fiesta and little red for your replies and for your support. It means a lot to me and it's really comforting to know that all of you are here and that you care. I know I'm not alone because I receive so much support on here. Having seizures and living on my own is hard. I live in fear. Every day I worry about hurting myself during a seizure or starting a fire during a seizure. I have ones where I walk around and do things without being aware of what I'm doing. It's terrifying.

Re: Seizures
Hope your doctors can get things regulated for you quickly, Jen . . . . I hear the struggle of living with a life-threatening, chronic illness, and I do understand much of the fear associated with that . . . . hope you are finding some comfort while at your mother's, and feeling a bit more stable within that fear. Hang in there . . . .

Life is like a rubix cube, when one side is o.k. the others get messed up! It takes a clever mind to sort out all the sides!
